We hand make each piece to order (except sample sale items) and our approx lead time is 5-6 weeks before shipping. The studio also regularly creates bespoke pieces for editorial shoots, so we are used to tight timescales and crazy deadlines! If you find yourself in that situation, do get in touch anyway, we are always happy to listen and see what we can suggest.
UK shipping is always free. We use a trusted courier network that usually uses UPS (but occasionally Parcel Force or other carriers) to deliver your order next working day. Once the item is collected we will send a tracking number. Please be aware that we only use a signed for service, so keep this in mind when choosing the best delivery address.
We source the best rates and carriers at the time of shipping for international orders, so have created reduced flat rate prices for our overseas customers which are:
Europe: £18 | USA: £25 | Rest of the World: £35
Orders will always been sent with a fully traceable courier, and a tracking number will be provided.
Payment and Returns
We accept payment by paypal and debit or credit card via our secure website, or by direct contact with the studio for bespoke commissions.
We hold our crafts(wo)manship to an exactingly high standard, and pour our love into each hand made creation - however if you are not happy for any reason we please do get in touch within 10 days of receiving the item(s).
In the case of incorrect fit or make quality we will arrange the return of your piece so we can rectify it and send it back out to you.
If you have changed your mind and wish to exchange or request a refund, please contact us and we will provide you with a return address.
All goods must be sent back in their original state, the original packaging, unworn, undamaged and in a saleable condition.
You are responsible for the cost of returning the item(s) to us for refund or exchange, and will remain responsible for any and all returned goods until they reach us. We would suggest using a trackable post service or courier that covers the full cost of the piece(s), and relaying the tracking number to us. We are not responsible for any items lost in transit.
Once we receive the item back we will issue you with a refund or exchange by the method you used to pay.
All refunds are limited to the cost of goods (shipping costs are non-refundable).
Bespoke orders, or orders with alterations to a standard style are non-refundable.
Sourcing and working practices
We aim to work in ways that support our earth and all its inhabitants as we create our pieces.
All our packaging is recyclable, and sourced from a sustainable manufacturer who uses the best standards in eco- conscious packaging.
We buy local fabrics and trims wherever possible to avoid items arriving to us wrapped in plastic.
The quantities we use to create are so small that we operate at practically no fabric waste, and often buy up ‘waste’ pieces from other designers, or end of roll pieces to utilise in bespoke creations.
Some of the methods we have worked with over the years (dying techniques, glues, and other practices traditional to millinery) are being switched to more kind and conscious methods.
We are always learning and growing and welcome discussion and advice on the subject of sustainability as we know it is important to so many of our customers also.
